On 22nd Feb 2022, BN007 submitted an affidavit to the Pradeshiya Sabha in response to a request due to discrepancies between the property’s deed and its survey plan. The Pradeshiya Sabha had identified several inconsistencies that needed to be addressed to ensure that the property’s legal documents were accurate and aligned with the land's actual boundaries.
The discrepancies between the deed and the survey plan raised concerns for the local authorities, as such issues could cause problems related to land ownership, property taxes, and development approvals. To investigate further, the Officer in Charge (OIC) scheduled a site visit to BN007’s property.

Upon assessing the building application, the OIC confirmed that he would be willing to grant permission for the construction of a toilet on the property. However, the OIC also noted that there was still an ongoing issue with the discrepancies between the deed and the survey plan.
Despite the approval for the toilet, the OIC made it clear that the issue with the deed and survey plan needed to be rectified. He advised BN007 to take immediate steps to have the discrepancies corrected, as it is critical that the legal documents accurately reflect the true boundaries and details of the property.

BN007 was advised to consult with the relevant authorities to correct the discrepancies between the deed and the survey plan.
