On the morning of 8th May 2025, a meaningful chapter unfolded as we officially handed over a fully built and functional toilet facility to a deserving family at BN004 Home. This initiative, rooted in compassion and the spirit of community, marks a significant step in enhancing the family’s quality of life.
The handover ceremony was attended by members of the community, including GS Mr Siva Ruben, Punitham Acca, along with esteemed guests Mr. T. Raveendiran and Mr. & Mrs. S. Ravisangar and a representative from the DS Chankanai office. Before the official ribbon-cutting, Mr. Siva Ruben shared heartfelt words emphasizing the critical role of sanitation in preserving dignity and promoting health.
This facility represents more than bricks and mortar—it stands for dignity, security, and wellbeing. Access to clean and safe sanitation is a basic human right, and today, we are proud to have played a part in ensuring that right for this family. The transformation in their daily life—from improved hygiene to enhanced privacy—will be long-lasting and impactful.
