Today we received an encouraging update from our mason, who reported that the weather is expected to improve in the coming days. This will allow work to resume on the toilet pit construction, which had been delayed due to heavy rains that left the pit filled with water.
To ensure the project can move forward without further delays, the mason requested an additional 5 bags of cement and 50 concrete blocks. We promptly contacted our trusted local supplier, Mr. Pakiyanathan, who assured us that the cement would be delivered the same day, with the concrete blocks to follow shortly.
True to his word, the cement was delivered later in the day, marking an important step towards getting the project back on track.
