Since the initial delivery of materials on April 3rd, we’re excited to report strong progress on the construction of the pit and toilet room. Thanks to the run of good weather, work on-site has moved forward smoothly, allowing the mason to make significant headway.
Several additional deliveries have helped maintain this momentum. These included essential materials like metal rods for pit covers, roof sheets, hinges, roof timber, and beadings. To ensure a solid structure, more sand and cement were also delivered. Most recently, on April 22nd, we received the spotting pan and U-bend—key components for completing the toilet installation.
We’re especially grateful to the beneficiary, who has been consistently sharing photos of the construction progress. Their timely updates have not only helped us stay connected to the project but have also shown just how much has been accomplished in a short time.
All in all, we’re very pleased with how the project is shaping up. Provided the good weather continues and the mason’s other commitments remain manageable, we’re optimistic that construction will be completed by early May 2025.
Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the finish line!
