We’re excited to share an encouraging update on the ongoing toilet construction project for the BN007 family. Significant strides have been made over the past few days, and the project is progressing well thanks to favorable weather conditions that have allowed work to continue without delay.
The toilet structure itself is now fully built, and a commode has been successfully installed. Both the interior and exterior of the structure have been painted, giving it a clean and welcoming appearance. The floor has also been completed and painted, ensuring the space is hygienic and easy to maintain. The final step for the main structure is the fitting of the toilet door, which will provide the privacy and security essential for everyday use.
In addition to the structural work, preparations for the toilet pit are also underway. A key part of this involves the delivery of materials necessary for building the pit plates. We’re happy to report that three additional steel rods have recently been delivered on-site. These rods will be used to construct the reinforced plates that will cover and support the toilet pit, forming a crucial part of the sanitation system.
The team on the ground has shown great commitment and efficiency, and we’re optimistic that it won’t be long before the entire facility is completed. Once finished, the family will have access to a safe, private, and functional toilet — a vital step toward improved hygiene, dignity, and well-being.
