A meeting was held at the Moolai South GS Office with Mr. Siva Ruben,
the beneficiary (BN004), their relative, JCB Sasi, the mason, and the project
team. During the meeting, the draftsman’s drawing was reviewed, and a
discussion about the construction took place, including what physical
assistance the beneficiary could provide. A team member had drafted a brief
contract outlining the terms of the labour agreement between the project team
and the mason for the construction of the toilet and pit. The labour contract,
valued at 50,000 LKR, was read aloud to ensure that all parties were aware of
the terms. The mason agreed to the terms and signed the contract, which was
witnessed by all present. Mr. Siva Ruben(GS) then franked and signed the
document. It was agreed that, weather permitting, the work would commence the
following day.
