As part of the ongoing WC4ALL Project by GLF, a significant step forward was taken today with the first delivery of construction materials to the BN005 site, officially initiating the on-ground phase of the toilet construction for this family.
This project is being carried out in close collaboration with the Lions Club Vaddukoddai, with generous funding support provided through the Club, thanks to the efforts of Lion S. Ravisangar. Their partnership underscores the shared commitment to improving access to basic sanitation for families in need.
Delivered by Pakiyanathan, our reliable local building materials supplier, the initial batch included 500 concrete blocks and 5 bags of cement. These materials will form the structural foundation of the new toilet facility. The BN005 family was again advised of their responsibility to safely store and protect all delivered materials, to ensure they remain in good condition throughout the construction process.
This moment marks a pivotal stage in the journey toward improved hygiene and living standards for the family. With construction now set to begin, the realization of their long-awaited sanitation facility is finally within reach—offering hope, dignity, and lasting impact for years to come.
