This morning, BN005 visited our office to personally hand over a letter signed by the local GS (Government Supervisor). The letter confirmed that the family’s situation is genuine and that the donation of a toilet will have a truly positive and life-changing impact on their daily life. It’s moments like these that remind us why this work matters.
BN005 also shared an update on the construction progress. The team has reached the stage of making the pit plates, which is a key part of the toilet build. However, more materials are needed to keep things moving.
To help speed things along, we immediately arranged for the next batch of materials to be delivered straight from the supplier. This includes:
-
One landmaster of foundation stones
-
Six buckets of sand
-
Small stones
-
Metal rods
-
Cement
We also got in touch with a local carpenter to start working on a door for the toilet structure—making sure the final build is safe and private for the family.
We’re really encouraged by how this project is coming together and thankful for everyone helping to make it happen. Every step brings us closer to giving this family the dignity and comfort they deserve.
